The Martyn Crook Foundation hosted a very successful business lunch on March 24 at the Adelaide Hilton. Featuring former Socceroo and now Fox Sports commentator, Mark Bosnich, in a tell- all interview with Fox Sports’ Adam Peacock, his rise and fall from grace and re-emergence as a respected football and sporting ambassador, was a riveting story, which kept all those who attended totally enthralled. Mark played 17 matches for the Socceroos between 1993-2000, and a total of 272 games in the English Premier League with Manchester United, Aston Villa and Chelsea from 1989 – 2003.
The President, Julie Crook, gave a very well-received speech in which she detailed the progress that the Foundation has made since the Launch function in the same venue in May last year. The Awards panel and the Ambassadors of the Foundation were announced and the speech can be seen in full on our Facebook page A very successful and well supported auction and raffle allowed further funds to be raised for the Foundation’s objectives.
