VOLUNTEER AWARDS CO-ORDINATOR – ROLE SUMMARY

  • Receives nominations for potential award recipients from Peak bodies and presents to the Foundation awards committee.
  • Works with the Foundation awards committee who will assess potential award recipients and make a recommendation to the Foundation trustees.
  • Presents outcomes of the assessment of the awards committee to The Foundation trustees for approval.
  • Communicates outcomes to the Peak bodies.
  • Acts as liaison to Peak bodies in coordinating with award recipients.
  • Works with the Board of Trustees to coordinate the presentation of awards to the successful award recipients.
  • Works with The awards committee in conjunction with the peak bodies to assess the progress of the award recipients on an ongoing basis and report to the Foundation trustees.
  • Communicates the outcomes to the TMCF supporters and sponsors.
  • Maintains, updates and/or compiles a record of awards recipients, resource data, documents, reports and materials.
  • Provides administration assistance to the Foundation awards committee.
  • This role is a volunteer position and requires a minimum commitment of 12 months.
  • Estimated time commitment will vary depending on the number of applications received but estimated at approximately 2 hours per week.
  • Applicants must be over the age of 18 and have had some involvement in coaching or administration at club level.
  • Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory national police check.
